WHAT COUNTS?
The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. (5:6)
USE YOUR FREEDOM:
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. (5:13)
ONE COMMAND:
The entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (5:14)
DON’T BITE!
If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. (5:15)
WALK:
Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. (5:16)
FRUIT:
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (5:22,23)
KEEP IN STEP:
Let us keep in step with the Spirit. (5:25)
DON’T PROVOKE ME!
Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other. (5:26)
HELP:
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. (6:2)
COMPARE?
Each one should test their own actions … without comparing themselves to someone else. (6:4,5)
WHAT GOES AROUND:
A man reaps what he sows. (6:7)
KEEP AT IT!
Let us not become weary in doing good. (6:9)
WHAT COUNTS? (#2)
What counts is the new creation. (6:15)
